Partial Obedience Won’t Due — Drawing Closer to Christ
Indeed obedience is far much better than offering sacrifices and taking God at His word is better than doing only what we want to hear and do.
The topic reminds me of Abraham being commanded by God to leave everything and move to a land God would tell him and then boom! he takes along his cousin Lot and that’s how Sodom and Gomorra was born.
Another person is King Saul, he killed all the frail animals and kept the fat animals together with the king of Amalekites for His own benefit, and went against the instructions the Lord had given Him and the Bible says, The Lord commanded Samuel to go and tell Saul that THE LORD HAS REJECTED HIM.
Indeed partial obedience is no obedience at all, God doesn’t delight in partial obedience the effects of partial obedience are eternally costly.
May we learn to take God at His word in all circumstances.
Be blessed sis Dawn for this timely post!
