I attended a conference on DEALING WITH BAGGAGE last Saturday the 14th, March, 2020 and it was very informative. I personally have lived with a lot of baggage some of which I have shed over the years and others that I am determined to shed with the help of God. I wish everyone would be able to attend this conference but unfortunately we come from different countries and CORONA has happened. I have therefore decided to put down my short notes so that as you read, you will gain self-awareness on the type of baggage you have carried through out your life, show yourself some loving-kindness and BE FREE.

WHAT IS BAGGAGE?
Baggage constitutes of the EXPERIENCES and BELIEFS from OUR PAST that have NEGATIVE EFFECTS in our PRESENT life.
What a simple and beautiful definition!
COMMON SIGNS OF BAGGAGE
1.AGGRESSION:
Verbal violence, physical violence, constant quarrels and arguments, low emotional intelligence
2.PASSIVITY
Nonchalance, fear to act, debilitation from anxiety
3.PASSIVE-AGGRESSION
Mindless allegiances, constant suspicion, judgment, assuming the worst.
4.DENIAL
Victim mentality, arrogance, self-pity, low self-awareness, red-herring arguments, projection, gaslighting.

Over the years God has taken much of my baggage & thrown it into the abyss. Every once in a while I find myself carrying the weight of a past hurt or perceived slight. I am getting better at handing these bags to Him. Some day we will all be free of our baggage. 🙏

I’m not a Christian, but I know that Christ didn’t really teach psychology. So, where are your getting your ideas about the mind, and why to you feel they are the best ideas for you to use in understanding how people behave?

Thanks for your concern. Psychology is the mental characteristics or attitudes of a person and our holy Bible teaches that Christ created the mind and He knows everything we think even before we speak or act it. Once you become a Christian you will get to know this but until then, just trust the ideas that are put down on this blog.God bless!

Your statement contradict itself. Christians are followers of CHRIST so if you say, “I am not a Christian but I know that CHRIST…..”….. You lie! A none Christian cannot know about Christ and if they know about him, that makes the Christians. Because you can only know about a person when you follow them 😂
